Dr. T.K. Williams
T.K. was raised in
New Providence located in central Iowa. After high school, T.K. received a
medical laboratory technician certification and moved to Ames, Iowa and was
employed by McFarland Clinic and Mary Greeley Hospital in their labs. It was
during those years that he strongly began to feel a desire to help patients
from a more natural and less invasive approach. He attended Iowa State
University and then received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer
Chiropractic College in 1985.
In a desire to stay near his Iowa farm
roots, TK and his family moved to the Des Moines area and opened his practice
November 4, 1985. TK, along with his wife, Gwenn, have served the community
with integrity and professionalism for the last 25 years through his practice
and in the community.
Williams has served the community through the years by having been involved in
civic organizations and for 20 years chaired the Urbandale 4th of July Parade.
TK and Gwenn have always been active members in their church and in ministries
throughout the city.
Dr. and Gwenn Williams have two wonderful
children. Spencer lives in Portland, Oregon working as a concert piano
technician. After graduating from CFNI in Dallas, Texas, Natalie lives with her
husband and daughter in Des Moines as a stay-at-home mom.
When you enter our office you will be
warmly greeted by Dr. Williams' wife, Gwenn. She has worked side-by-side with
her husband in the practice since the first patient entered the office almost
30 years ago. You will quickly feel at ease when you realize how much she cares
for you as an individual and how passionate she is about chiropractic care.
Gwenn has been a chiropractic patient since she was a little girl while growing
up on a farm near Harlan, Iowa.
Gwenn will help you with all of your
insurance questions and will file all of your claims. At our office insurance
is a breeze for the patient -Gwenn sees to it!
Gwenn loves working with
her husband in the practice, but out of the office her first love is her gift
of hospitality. She loves to prepare their home for friends and family to spend
time with them fellowshipping, playing games, and eating (of course). We are
fortunate to have that gift operating in the office every day.
